Meet your teacher
Hi, I'm Grant Siedle and I have a great passion for Chess. I have spent years working as a teacher, coach and facilitator and love to share my knowledge and hope to inspire everyone along the way.
I think one of my skills is to bring humour, colour and variety into each session, but also to keep things simple. I have have not forgotten what it is like to be a beginner.
My Chess mission
I believe, along with many others, that our attention is being 'stolen'! Through Chess I think we can regain some of it. The beautiful game offers us the chance for a lifetime of study, thought, fun and healthy competition!
There are not many things where a child of 5 can interact with an adult of 90! Chess is one of them.
For anyone who is willing to put in a bit of carefully focussed work, Chess holds some great rewards - that may be fun and deeply satisfying all at the same time.
